234 Summer Campers + 35 ESL Campers + 41 Cadet Instructors completed four weeks of USMC-styled challenge during MMA’s Summer program which began July 2nd and wrapped up July 29th. The Graduation Parade got underway on Saturday, July 29th, 0900, at MMA Parade Grounds with Brigadier General S. Cheney, USMC (Ret), President – Marine Military Academy as Reviewing Officer. Shortly following the Parade, separate Company Graduation Ceremonies were conducted followed by hearty congratulations from extremely proud Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, and friends…but not without “word to the wise” from Drill Instructors: “Moms, Dads, these young men know HOW to make a bed so that a quarter skips across the cover – DO NOT LET THESE ACCOMPLISHED YOUNG MEN FOOL YOU!”
