FRIDAY THE 13 TH ABOARD MARINE MILITARY ACADEMY CAMP

Friday the 13 th aboard Marine Military Academy Camp was anything but frightful, in fact, GREAT BIG GIANT STEPS FORWARD was the theme throughout the day for these groups of enthusiastic campers.

CHARLIE Company tackled the Circuit Course, while ECHO Company took on the challenges of the Obstacle Course…and then some! FOX Company pushed the limits in the Weightlifting Gym…OORAH’s, grunts and ‘RIGHT ON’ could be heard throughout the Gym, despite the background whoosh from the industrial size fans. ALPHA Company discovered Medium paintball coverall pants no longer fit frames that entered Camp as a Medium…that’s effects of the SUPER chow over in the Mess Hall!!! GOLF Company learned about one of the U.S. Marine Corps’ values: COURAGE, and how important it is to ALWAYS do the RIGHT thing – EVEN WHEN NO ONE IS LOOKING. The air-conditioned comfort of Yeckel Auditorium wasn’t too hard to take on a warm, sub-tropical S. Texas sunny Friday the 13 th afternoon!!!
