Summer Camp in Ft. Lauderdale ?

Consider The Marine Military Academy
...

The Rappelling towerInstead of the same old summer camp in Ft. Lauderdale, why not consider Marine Military Academy summer camp in Harlingen Texas, where boys learn new skills and make memories that will last a lifetime?

Marine Military Academy was founded in 1971, and our annual summer camps offer a wide variety of fun summer activities based on time-honored traditions of the United States Marine Corps.

Over the years, we’ve taught boys from across the country and around the globe the skills they need for success on the playing field, in school and at home.

Our summer camp offers boys a way to get the most out of their summer by providing them with  fun, supervised activities in an atmosphere that promotes the strong values of the United States Marine Corps.
Over the course of the MMA summer camp, our cadets learn to be more self reliant, disciplined and motivated to excel in all areas of their lives.

Central to achieving this growth is a variety of team sports and group activities including our “Iron Man” course. The Iron Man course presents campers with a series of challenges that develop effective problem solving skills and teamwork while building physical coordination and endurance.

The Obstacle CourseCampers will also have the opportunity to compete on our rifle range where they learn discipline and safety skills.
Our paint ball competitions and mud course are always fun and have become favorite activities among our campers.
Marine Military Academy’s summer camp emphasizes the military department core Leadership Enhancement and Development (LEAD) concept which teaches boys the leadership skills necessary to compete and succeed in today’s highly competitive world.

Our boy’s summer camp also features a full-sized, military-style obstacle course that challenges our cadets to persevere and work in teams as they navigate through a variety of obstacles located throughout the Academy’s campus.
Our climbing and rappelling tower teaches self confidence and builds trust and our pugil stick pit, boxing smokers and judo instruction teach boys basic self defense techniques in a fun, competitive atmosphere.  Each of these activities is carried out under the supervision of certified, licensed medical personnel and highly trained instructors. At Marine Military Academy, the safety of our campers always comes first.

The Rappelling towerTeam sports offered at our summer camp include softball, flag football, basketball, dodge ball and volleyball. And, what would summer camp be without swimming facilities? Our pools are a great way for campers to enjoy some cool R&R and socialize.

MMA instructors and staff are world-class and have been selected based on their skills and dedication to young people. In addition to our highly qualified athletic coaches, our instructors are retired and reserve Marines with years of experience.

Our summer camp is structured on a military-style chain of command in which campers are assigned to companies of between 65 and 70 boys. Each company is under the supervision of a retired non-commissioned officer who serves as their drill instructor. Companies are composed of platoons consisting of between 30 and 35 campers.
Instead of summer camp in Ft. Lauderdale, why not consider the Marine Military Academy summer camp where boys learn new skills and make new memories that last a lifetime.
