Marine Military Academy offers a wide variety of team sports that help build self confidence and mutual respect among our campers.  Softball, basketball, swimming, volleyball, dodge ball and flag football are ideal team building activities offered at our summer camps.

The “Iron Man” course presents a host of challenges and consists of a series of obstacles throughout our campus. The course is designed to develop leadership, problem solving skills and teamwork in addition to improving endurance and physical coordination.

Our rifle range teaches responsibility and firearms safety skills.

Our mud course and paint ball activities are great ways for our campers to burn off extra energy, and our swimming facilities are the ideal way to cool down afterward.

We also offer self defense instruction in judo and boxing, and our pugil pit is a fun, safe way to compete in close range combat activities under the close supervision of medical personnel and highly trained instructors.

Our camp staff and instructors include highly qualified athletic coaches and reserve and retired Marines who have been selected for their expertise and experience working with boys. Each serves as a role model for our campers and personifies the highest standards of the Academy.

The Leadership Enhancement and Development (LEAD) concept is at the very heart of our camp. This approach is designed to help our campers develop the leadership skills they need to succeed in sports, in the classroom, in the workplace and within their families.

The Marine Military Academy summer camp is structured on the Marine chain of command and assigns boys to platoons consisting of between 30 to 35 campers. This provides the opportunity for campers to develop a sense of camaraderie that is a hallmark of military life.
